Happiness comes from within – and it grows when it is shared. Little opens people up to each other as fast as music and dance. That is why art belongs on the big stage that evening.
The more art comes out of AI these days, the more this matters to us: an evening where people play for people. Real emotion, unguarded expression, a story behind it – someone who dares to show something of themselves.
Three acts from Bavaria get light, sound, an arena and 6,000 people listening. We are not looking for flawless performances. We are looking for people with something to give.

BMW Park is the first arena in the world with a permanently installed LED video glass floor – around 580 square metres, the largest of its kind. On 31 October, from 8:00 to 8:30 pm, this stage belongs to the three winners of the Art Contest.

Singer & musical performer
Trained in singing, acting and dance at Studio Theater in Vienna, Angelica Camm-Daum has performed on stage as a musical performer and singer and released her first album in 1995. She knows how much courage it takes to step in front of an audience with your own voice – and how much craft goes into a performance that looks effortless. On the jury she listens for voice, presence and sincerity.
Wimbledon champion, tennis coach & TV expert
Heinz Günthardt won the men’s doubles at Wimbledon in 1985 – one of the Swiss player’s four Grand Slam titles. After his playing career he coached Steffi Graf from 1992 to 1999, has captained the Swiss Billie Jean King Cup team since 2012 – champions in 2022 – and was Swiss television’s tennis expert for over 35 years. Few people know better what it takes to hold up under pressure in front of thousands – and how to spot talent before the world does.
Musician, guitar teacher & musical director
Marcel Verbay teaches guitar at the Musikschule Region Sursee and has more than 35 years of experience in music, breathwork and meditation. A senior teacher with The Art of Living, he leads mantra concerts and sound journeys – and on 31 October he conducts 108 guitarists on stage at the Happiness Festival. He listens for musicality, timing and whether a piece holds up when 6,000 people are listening.
The jury first judges independently, then together. If a member has a personal connection to an applicant, they step back for that entry.
