Breathing techniques, yoga and guided meditations prepare you step by step for the time of silence.
The silence begins. Several deep guided meditations every day, developed by Gurudev especially for silence, help you settle more deeply day by day.
The silence ends. You reflect on the experience and take home a daily practice that supports you in everyday life.
Your teachers
Each of them has been guiding people at Art of Living for many years. You can see who leads your retreat in the list of dates.

With Bad Antogast from the start
Eva has been part of Art of Living for more than 30 years. She has taught people of many different backgrounds all over Germany and on three continents, and accompanies them on their inward journey with heart and dedication. Participants especially value her clarity, lightness and subtle humour. With deep experience, authentic spirituality and down-to-earth wisdom, she shares the teachings in a way that touches and inspires. She has been part of the Bad Antogast retreat center from the very beginning and still leads Silence Retreats and meditation courses there today.

Directs the Bad Antogast center
Britta has been teaching Art of Living courses for 20 years, with a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of inner growth. She leads Silence Retreats, Sahaj Samadhi Meditation and courses for children. As a psychologist with many years of experience in Montessori education, she has a fine sense for people. Before moving to Bad Antogast, she was responsible for the Art of Living Center in Berlin for several years. Today she directs the center in the Black Forest.

Educator & meditation teacher
Elke has been part of Art of Living for more than three decades, and for almost as long she has been guiding people on their inward journey as a course leader. She lives in Hamburg and teaches both Silence Retreats and Sahaj Samadhi Meditation. Her many years as an educator and meditation teacher can be felt in every encounter: clear, sensitive and genuinely interested in the people in front of her.

Teaching for more than 30 years
Petra has been part of Art of Living for almost four decades and is one of the most experienced teachers in Germany. She has been teaching for more than 30 years with great clarity and warmth. As one of the pioneers of Art of Living in Germany, she helped shape the organisation from the very beginning. Today she lives in Hamburg and guides people through Silence Retreats with great depth and presence.

Yoga teacher & board member
Tatiana has been part of Art of Living for more than 20 years. Born in Colombia and living in Germany since 1985, she brings a special openness and warmth to her courses. As an experienced yoga teacher and long-standing board member of Art of Living Germany, she guides people with humour, depth and heart. She teaches Silence Retreats and Sri Sri Yoga and is also active in international projects, always with the aim of supporting people on their inward journey.
Next stop: Black Forest
Nestled in a green valley near Oppenau lies the Art of Living Center Bad Antogast.
Forest trails start right at the door. Streams babble, birds sing, and between sessions there is time for quiet walks. The historic former spa has been a place of retreat, encounter and meditation for around 30 years.
